About Ted ~ Cattle Dog puppy (on trial 30/6/19)
Introducing the handsome Ted! Ted is a 4 and ½ month old red Cattle Dog.
Ted is currently in foster care with 4 other dogs and gets along well with them. Being a puppy he loves to play!!
Ted understands basic commands like sit. He would love for his furever family to continue his training as he is a very smart dog and picks things up quickly. Ted is currently learning to be house trained, his training is going really well.
Ted is very affectionate, although due to his eventual size his foster parents would recommend older children or children who have experience with larger dogs. Ted is a very playful dog and loves his toys especially ones which he can chew.
Ted would love to go to a furever home where he has another play mate to keep him company, although this is not essential, as long as he has toys to play with.
Ted is quite happy to be outside during the day and sleeps inside at night. Ted will need a secure yard with high fencing.
Ted would make the perfect addition to any family.
As Ted is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Ted please email foster carer Amy on amyeh34@hotmail.com Ted is in foster care in Pelaw Main, NSW (west of Newcastle). You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Ted's adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms.

(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
