About Layla 🌸
This sweet natured, outgoing little girl is on the search for her Forever home....Layla is a Staffy mix and although we are unsure what she is crossed with, we do believe that she will be a medium size dog when fully grown.
Her foster home consists of 1 small host dog and 5 other foster dogs (which includes 3 of her siblings), and of course her foster mum. She is learning the routine and follows simple instructions well. Layla is learning to sit on command and she's working hard at toilet training. With consistency and effort, she will have this perfected in no time. She is crate trained at night and currently sleeps with her siblings snuggled up together.
Layla enjoys rumbling with her doggie friends, playing with her toys and pleasing her humans. She's a happy little soul who just wants a family of her very own. This little sweetheart just loves everyone she meets, and once you provide her with love and a loving home, you will have an affectionate little companion for life!
As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Rascal will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that he grows up to be a well mannered and socialised boy. He is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment we’re sure she will grow to be an extremely loyal, well mannered adult.
We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Layla would be suited to a range of different homes. Whilst we would love to see her growing up alongside another dog, she is also independent enough to suit an only dog home. She will need a medium to large yard with secure height appropriate fencing and a family who will commit to her training.
Layla is located in Bateau Bay, on the Central Coast NSW and looking forward to meeting you! She is booked in for Desex on Wednesday 19th June so will be ready to head off to her forever home from the 21st June.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
