ROCKY IS LOOKING FOR A FOREVER FOSTER HOME!

I am a 2.5 year old sphynx (or a naked cat) looking for a forever foster home.
I’ve had a beautiful life and lived with a lovely family, other cats and small/medium sized dogs however circumstances out of their control lead to me becoming a Happy Tails Kiddo. Happy Tails investigated my health (especially my legs as I walk really weird) and the cat doctors have come to conclusion that I am not able to be adopted out and I must remain in a foster home through the rescue forever. You see… basically everything from my hips down is out of place. My friends here at Happy Tails have investigated surgical options but it is just not possible for me. I have lived with this condition all of my life so I don’t feel too effected, but I have started some medication to help with pain management. I cannot jump, I need a very low litter tray, I do not run and my back end must always be kept nice and warm.
I am still the most beautiful, loving guy but I do require a special home to live out my years. I like to watch Netflix and snuggle up anywhere I possibly can. I love being close to you. I am your own personalised hot water bottle.
My request is for a home with other cats or dogs, no children please! A one story house is a must and I will require a human that LOVES cuddles. I need a bath once a week and my ears, eyes and nails have to be cleaned multiple times a week. My legs restrict me a little so I need a patient parent who will help me with my toileting and provide solutions.
Oh, I also need to let you know that I am a wee bit fat… I need to lose a bit of weight to take the pressure off my hips/legs.

*** Happy Tails is looking for someone to become Rockys Palliative Carer for the remainder of his life. This means Happy Tails will remain his legal owners, but he will live with his carer until it is deemed by our veterinarians and coordinators that he no longer has a fair quality of life. Rocky is NOT available for adoption. He is looking for a forever foster home.

We will cover all costs including flea & worming, vet check ups, medication and testing.
As his carer you will need to be able to stay in regular contact with us and take Rocky to one of our vets when required.
You must be located in the Brisbane or Gold Coast region and be able to transport Rocky to our selected Happy Tails veterinary clinics.

Breed experience is essential.
