Rascal 🍂

This sweet natured, outgoing little boy is on the search for his Forever home....Rascal is a Staffy mix and although we are unsure what he is crossed with, we do believe that he will be a medium size dog when fully grown.

His foster home consists of 1 small host dog and 5 other foster dogs (which includes 3 of his siblings), and of course his foster mum. He is learning the routine and follows simple instructions well. Rascal is learning to sit on command and he's working hard at toilet training. With consistency and effort, he will have this perfected in no time. He is crate trained at night and currently sleeps with his siblings snuggled up together.

Rascal enjoys rumbling with his doggie friends, playing with his toys and pleasing his humans. He's a happy little soul who just wants a family of his very own. This handsome little boy just loves everyone he meets, and once you provide him with love and a loving home, you will have an affectionate little companion for life!

As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Rascal will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that he grows up to be a well mannered and socialised boy. He is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment we’re sure he will grow to be an extremely loyal, well mannered adult.

We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.

Rascal would be suited to a range of different homes. Whilst we would love to see him growing up alongside another dog, he is also independent enough to suit an only dog home. He will need a medium to large yard with secure height appropriate fencing and a family who will commit to his training.

Rascal is located in Bateau Bay, on the Central Coast NSW and looking forward to meeting you! He is booked in for Desex on Wednesday 19th June so will be ready to head off to his forever home from the 21st June.
