About Mia
My name is Mia and I'm a lovely, healthy and extremely affectionate girl with lots of energy. I enjoy living with another well mannered dog. I used to like children but I don't like it when they touch the area near my tail, The vet has checked me out and there's nothing wrong with me, but she recommended that I'd better suit a home without young children around and where my owner has lots of time to spend with me, and to train and exercise an active girl like me.
Let's make no bones about it. I'm a challenge. I'm anxious when I'm left alone. And I need training out of the habits of jumping up for attention and trying to rush past when the door is open. But with regular training sessions and consistency, I think I could be AWESOME!. I am a little wary of men I don't know, and I'm usually tentative when I first meet dogs at the park, but then I'm OK with them. But having a firm, calm owner will make me feel safe so I can relax and trust that nothing bad is going to happen.
I love lying around on my special chair in the backyard.
I CAN FLY!
A won't mind flying for a few hours as it's absolutely worth it for animals like me who are located remotely if it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth for around $150. Travel costs are negotiable and never get in the way of a good match up!
