About Bear
Hi! My name is Bear. I'm an energetic 18mth old pure breed English Staffy (non-papered). I've had all my vet work completed and up to date with my parasite treatments & ready to find my new forever home.
I currently live with my foster doggy brother and sister...they are older than me & have helped me to not be over excited, my 2 kitty foster furballs who don't like us furdogs and let us know it, chickens that have their own home...I'm not allowed in there, and my humans who look after me.
My foster mum and dad work so I spend my days outside with my foster siblings chillin' and playin', I bark sometimes when dogs and humans walk by..but not much.
I don't dig holes or chew things up which makes my foster humans happy. I love to play tug-o-war and fetch when I'm in the mood, but my FAVOURITE thing is to be where my humans are. At night after my dinner, my kitty friends get tucked away in their own room so me and my foster siblings can hang out with the humans, we get to stay in all night. I like to lay on the floor next to my foster mum's chair, and sometimes share her chair so I can be even closer to her (I secretly want to be a lap dog).
I love going for walks & am getting better on my lead, I love meeting other doggies & want to be best friends straight away, I know my commands & come when I'm called...well mostly, I love my snacks and will sit and wait for my dinner, I also love when the little humans visit so I can play with them too.
There is one thing I DONT like though...CAR RIDES..they scare me really bad. I'll need someone to sit with me if I need to go in the car to keep me calm.
So now you know my good, and not so good bits, could you be my new forever family?
I'm available for a 2 week trial so we get to know each other, with a $50 refundable deposit, & and when you fall in love my adoption fee is $400.
Adoption details
Fraser Coast Animal Rescue (FCAR) house all our dogs with foster carers in private homes. This allows the dogs to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. This gives us an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dog may suit your family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial to see if the chosen dog is a fit with your family. A $50 deposit is to be paid at the commencement of the trial period. This comes off the balance of the adoption fee should you adopt. If you decide that the dog doesn't fit with your family, the dog will be returned to us and the full deposit is refunded to you.
If you wish to arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs please call FCAR on
0447 175511 or email dianne.north@hotmail.com
The committee and carers of FCAR are all volunteers, so please be patient with us if we don't answer your enquiry straight away.
