About Buddy
Buddy is large (40kgs) and in charge! He's a confident and energetic boy who loves his walks, and would make a great jogging partner. He's looking for an active home who will take him out to explore the new wide world - since arriving in foster care he has taken everything in stride and is not spooked by loud noises, new smells, unfamiliar places, or other dog breeds. Everything is an exciting new adventure for Buddy, and he wants to be right by your side experiencing it all.
Buddy can comfortably live with FT workers but needs time to settle in and build his confidence before being left suddenly for long stretches (our adoptions team can talk you through this, but someone with the flexibility to work from home for periods, or can take some leave when he first arrives would be perfect!).
Given his love of people and great manners, Buddy would be a greyt "office dog" and would love to get to spend each day with you hanging out, maybe helping greet customers or assisting to shred some documents and then a well earned nap in the corner? (However he'd prefer his furry colleagues be medium to large size please, it's still very confusing trying to work out the difference between a racing lure and a small fluffy dog, they present just a little bit too much temptation to chase).
Due to his size and exuberance for life, Buddy would prefer a home without small children or elderly residents that he may accidentally knock over.
Buddy needs a home with a backyard to stretch his legs and get all his "zoomies" in, he may be suited to an apartment or townhouse if was not left alone for full time working hours.
** Buddy is not small animal tolerant and would not be suited to a home with cats **
