About Tilly

Child Friendly: Yes - 8 years+
Cat Friendly: Unknown

Tilly is a beautiful natured dog with the looks to match. She spent most of her young life on a chain, until her owners decided to surrender her to give her a better life. Due to this she unfortunately has not experienced as much as other pups her age. Things that are normal to you and other dogs can frighten her. So when introducing her to new things she does need a little extra reassurance and lots of pats. She is very smart, and it does not take her long to gain confidence in these situations.
Tilly is very sweet and lovable, she is very friendly with people and always wants hugs and cuddles. She is content to lay at your feet at night.
Tilly is toilet trained and is learning her basic training.
Tilly’s ideal family would have to be very active, his working dog breed means he will need a lot of exercise. You will also have to continue his socialisation and slow introduction to new places.
Medical notes
Tilly has had the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed
~ C5 Vaccination
~ Microchipped
~ Heartworm Tested & Treated
~ All-Wormed
~ Flea Treated
Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
