Donny ~ 13 year old Terrier X (on trial 15/6/19)

Hi my name is Donny I am a 13 year old Terrier cross. I came into the care of DRN after my owner passed away. I was very sad when I first came into foster care, however, after 5 weeks in foster care I am now feeling much happier. I now wag my tail and smile when I see my foster mum and dad and the 5 other little dogs I am currently living with.

I am house trained, I bark at the door to let you know I want to go out. I walk on the lead well and love a walk. I am well behaved when being bathed or groomed.

I have a short coat that requires a brush daily.

I have been checked by the vet and he says I am very healthy for my age. The only health issue I have is sensitive eyes and skin, this is controlled by a chicken based diet, so dog biscuits which are chicken not beef based. I also enjoyed some fresh chicken too.

I may require eye drops from the vet if my eyes become irritated. However having had a chicken based diet since I have been in foster care my eyes are now in good condition.

My favourite thing to do is to sit on the lounge with my foster mum and foster brothers and sisters watching the TV.

I sleep on the lounge at night wrapped in a blanket. I sleep through the night and am so happy in the morning. Being older I do enjoy a morning and afternoon sleep, but am happy to go walking too.

I love going in the car and am well behaved when travelling.

My foster mum says I am lovely boy and will only get happier and lovelier when I am adopted.

If you are looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who can walk with you then I might be your dog!

I get along well with other dogs and I have been exposed to young children in foster care with no problems.

Donny's adoption fee is $200 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
