About Zeppelin
Hey there, my name is Zeppelin. I am a 7 month old domestic short hair desexed male looking for a place to call my own with my very own human!
I had a bit of a difficult past but you wouldn’t know that just by looking at me. I was playing in the backyard one day and managed to get a little caught up under the deck. My then parents brought me into the clinic to get the medical attention I needed.
As feared they discovered I had broken my leg and pelvis. My previous family and I discussed our options and decided I would be surrendered to the team at Nepean animal hospital so my leg could get better and they could help me find a new home.
This hasn’t stopped me in the slightest, I still like to jump (gently climb), walk around, play with some toys but my two favourite things included all types of food and sleeping in silly places. Currently I love sleeping under the bed I have been given.
But enough about me let’s talk about the human I’m after. I’d ideally like someone who loves to cuddle, gives good kisses and feeds me chicken! They would be understanding that my leg will hurt me from time to time and give me some down time to rest. My human will also keep me strictly indoors! I am good with adults and kids alike, I haven’t met any other cats or dogs yet but with my friendly carefree nature I’m sure I’d be fine.
I have been desexed, received all my kitten vaccines and been kept up to date with flea and worm prevention. You will also receive the next dose of flea and worm prevention well as a sample of food I have been eating and a toy! My adoption fee is $300.
I'm not quite ready to go to my home just yet as I have a bit more healing to go however if you are interested in meeting me please contact the adoptions team on 4733 3456, email them at adoptions@wellpet.com.au or hit them up on their Instagram page wellpet.cat.adoptions, here you can see all past and previous kitties looking for their fur-ever home.
Medical notes
Zeppelin has suffered a broken leg and severely damaged pelvis. He has had the break surgically repaired, and currently receiving physio with one of our nurses. He is lightly using his limb but not yet completely putting weight on him.
He has been desexed, vaccinated and already has a microchip. He has been kept up to date with flea and worm prevention as well.
Adoption details
Please take the time to browse through some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption. Keep in mind that we have many other cats that have not yet made it to this page who are looking for their forever homes. If you don't find the pet you're looking for we encourage you to contact our clinic directly on (02) 47333456 and leave your details with the adoption coordinator.
Please be advised that we do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for them is too high to keep up-dating. However, we always have lots of new kittens in the program looking for their purr-fect family.
Our adoption process includes a meet and greet with our adoption coordinator and the kitten or cat(s) you are interested in adopting. This is where you can ask any questions you might have and discuss the suitability of this pet to your lifestyle, and all the inclusions of the adoption fee.
