About Rocket
Having lived his first year with a family who can now no longer care for him, Rocket is back in SAFE's care. Rocket currently lives with another male rescue dog who he gets along fine with. He also lived with a male dog in his first home so we feel confident in saying he would be okay in being adopted to a house with another dog. He has not been tested in large dog areas such as beaches or dog parks but with a confident owner we are sure he will be fine.
Rocket lives with 2 little humans aged 3 and 5 and has been great with them. He likes to be apart of everything and will do best with a family who are going to include him in their adventures and play time and allow him to hang out inside with the family. He is a smart boy and knows his name and understands when he is called. He is also toilet trained and has no issues sleeping inside at night with the door closed, he is a good boy and will hold on till he is let outside in the morning. He is good at walking on his lead and absolutely loves walk time.
Rocket does need lots of exercise and stimulation otherwise he gets bored and starts to chew on things. Chewing can be corrected with boredom buster toys, exercise and correcting training.
Rocket loves the company of people and would best be suited to a family with kids or another dog to keep him company and occupied. Rocket is medium to large in size and looks to be a Heeler X meaning he will need a home to exercise him daily. Rocket is looking for the perfect home to give him just as much love as he has to give in return. needing a home willing to train, exercise and of course love as he has so much to share with his lucky new family.
If you feel Rocket could be the prince you've been looking for, please complete the below with as much information as possible -
