About Duggy
Duggie (or as he as been affectionately renamed: Land Walrus) is ready to find his retirement home!
While he is getting on in years, the only thing holding him back is his weight! He is working hard to shed those kilos and is slowly experiencing all the fun dog things he’s been missing. He is loving being able to chase a stick again!
Duggie is fantastic on a lead, he loves his morning strolls around the block and is not bothered by any human or animal that passes him by.
Duggie loves talking to his humans in typical staff style, and will thank you with grunts when you finally give in and scratch his butt. He is learning really quickly how to behave inside, and has zero interest in causing any chaos. Duggies favourite place is right next to his humans, and he would love to be included as much as he can. Although duggie has zero interest in any other animals out and about, he would prefer to be the only butt his humans are going to be scratching. Give this (soon to be) little ball of personality a chance to live out his golden years in comfort!
Adoption details

ADOPTION APPLICATION PROCESS CAN TAKE ANYWHERE FROM 24HOURS TO 7DAYS DEPENDING ON INFORMATION GIVEN, APPLICATIONS IN PROCESS, MEET & GREETS ETC.
All canines are to be met in person, with interstate adoptions an exception. We arrange a meet and greet with your family and any other pets you may have.
An adoption application will need to be completed and returned before we complete a yard check to make sure you yard is secure and fully fenced, shade and shelter suitable for your new canine.
Upon approval your adoption fee will be paid before collecting your new family member.
You will go on a 14day trial period. If at anytime in that 14 days you find you can not keep your canine, they shall be returned and you will receive a refund of your adoption fee minus $50 - Admin Fee.
If after the 14 day trial period you have decided to continue with the adoption of your canine we will send you out your adoption pack.
This pack includes
- Desexing Paperwork
- Microchip number
- Vaccination Passport/card - All vaccines will be up to date
- Receipt of payment
- Worming, Heart Worm and Flea treatment dates.
Your change of ownership form will be covered in the adoption fee and sent through to the company.
