Meet Billy. If you need a mature, quirky snuggle-bug in your life then look no further 😊.

Billy is a sweet older boy whose main goal in life is to find a warm bed or couch to snuggle with his humans 🌷. He has been living in foster care with two kids, aged 9 and 10, and he LOVES them to bits. He's so gentle with them and will stop at nothing to join them on the couch for a cuddle.

Billy came to us through no fault of his own. At the age of approximately 8 he went from being a house-dog to an outdoor dog, and not surprisingly, he didn't cope very well!!! So he gets worried if he's locked outside while his humans are inside, but with lots of love and cuddles, his confidence and independence is improving every day in foster care 😍. He is totally fine left alone when his foster family go out - as long as he knows they've gone, he's fine!! That's just one of Billy's quirks 😉.

Billy is an absolute dream to walk on the lead, but prefers not to do too much car travel. He isn't phased by other dogs, and tries his best to ignore them!! He's so human-focused that he doesn't need another doggy companion - and would probably prefer to be the one and only dog so that he can have his new owners all to himself!

Learning to be an inside dog again, Billy still needs to be reminded that the toilet is outside. Being the superstar that he is, he can hold on all night without making a peep - although typical of pugs, he does have a good snore on him!!! 😴

Billy has a clean bill of health, including beautifully sparkling teeth 😁. He is, however, a touch overweight, so will need to be exercised and kept on a light diet so that he enter his golden years fit and healthy.
