Beau

Meet Beau! This easy going, affectionate boy came to SAFE Esperance from the local pound and is now looking for the perfect home.

Beau is a very friendly boy with people, both old and young, and gets on very well with other dogs, occasionally being a little hesitant on first meet, but he always loves to play. He has shown chasing behaviour towards smaller animals so we would recommend a home without them. Beau will bark when someone is at the door and sometimes at strangers he doesn't know.

His favourite activities are swimming at the beach, fetch, wrestling and playing tug of war, he would love to have someone continue these activities on a regular basis with him. He does like to dig in the yard, so will need a home with an area where he can do this, although keeping Beau occupied with company or activities should curb this desire.

Beau walks well on the lead and has a good grasp of commands. He's very eager to please and is a smart lad so any further training he needs will be relatively easy. He is also housetrained.

Beau is an active boy and needs a home where he has two good walks each day to expend his energy and keep him happy and healthy.

Beau would do well in a home with a big, secure yard or block, and because he loves his people, where someone is home for a lot of the day or he has a doggy friend to play with. He loves to be close to his human and would thrive where he can be someone's best friend. He also needs to be allowed to sleep inside at night.
