About Mumma Mia
Update 17 may: mumma mia has a new home to go to once her puppies have been weaned. Mumma mia came to us from the pound barefoot and pregnant! this poor little girl was so neglected. . . She had a skin infection, both ears and eyes were infected and her coat was putrid and matted. Mumma mia was given a good meal and then we set to work to clean her up, medicate her eyes, skin and ears and clip off her dirty coat. Mumma mia's nails were so long that it hurt her to walk but were clipped very soon after this photo was taken to make her more comfortable. After her make-over. Mumma mia enjoyed having her tummy rubbed and wriggled to get our attention as she wanted more but then laid on a cushion on the lounge and slept. Mumma mia was probably someone's baby early on in her life but those days were long gone given her poor condition. Mumma mia is going to have a wonderful life from now on. She will be fed a nutritious diet in preparation for the birth of her puppies so that her milk supply is good and she is well and healthy and can look after them. Her vet thinks that she is probably due early june and mumma mia will not be ready for rehoming until her puppies are independant and she is desexed. We will let you know when the puppies have been born!
mumma mia comes desexed (after her puppies are weaned), microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $350.
