Hi there! I'm Girlie and I'm very cheeky, energetic, playful and affectionate. My foster carer says I'm a beautiful little girl and have made really good progress in her care. I'd love to live with another calm but playful dog, and with people who are home a lot and will include me as part of the family.

I'm very clever, quick on the uptake and love human companionship. I'd make a great running buddy and can't wait to learn lots of new tricks. You'll notice a couple of photos of me with my toy chicken :) I love it dearly and go to sleep with it most nights. It's a squeaky toy and I bite it to make it squeak and play with it but because it's so precious to me, I'm very gentle with it.

I haven't had a lot of contact with other dogs before but I'm in foster care with some dogs who are teaching me manners. I take notice of them when they growl at me and realise what I'm doing isn't acceptable to them. There's lots of learning for me to do, but if you have the patience and time and use positive re-enforcement type training, I'll try my hardest to please you and to be good. I would suit someone who has experience with working dog breeds.
