Hi, my name is Gilbert. I am an absolutely adorable 13 month old Labrador who is looking for fun and exciting adventures! My foster parents say that I am the happiest and most loving dog they have ever met - there is no chance of being lonely or not being loved with me around! ❤️ I have the softest coat and the most handsome face you will ever meet. I am super smart, alert and inquisitive but I do need some training! I haven’t been digging and I only bark occasionally but I am a very determined boy and once I set my mind to it, there is nothing I can’t destroy... I need obedience training, but I’m totally up for it! I get walked on the lead and I am well behaved, however in other social settings (like going to the local footy with my foster family) I can get a little over excited! In my foster family I live with two Jack Russell’s and two teenagers - I get along famously with them because I am just so loving! I am good in the car, I love water and really enjoy my food - as you can probably tell I am a cuddly boy! I really enjoy coming inside the house and after a few minutes of being curious, I will happily snooze at your feet - or even on your couch or bed if you will let me! I am an adorable, loving boy and would suit a family who is used to Labradors, is interested in daily long walks and has experience with training dogs. I can’t wait to meet you! Love Gilbert ❤️🐾--
