Wags is a totally gorgeous funny little guy who just loves a belly rub or a scratch, he loves a walk and snuggles.
Wags loves other dogs and would do well as a companion dog with another small breed. He has this big underbite which is very cute.
When Wags first came to us he was very very sad. He’d been abandoned and couldn’t understand why his family left him, he’d given them everything and he loved them and then he was alone and sad. This caused a tremendous amount of stress and he became snappy to strangers ( due to his underbite he could never hurt or latch on) .
Wags just didn’t understand all the strangers around him and the sadness at the pound with all the barking and crying, it was a problem time for him. He just wanted to go home, he shut down and wouldn’t look at anyone.
Then we took him out of the pound and into a family where he was safe and happy and almost immediately he started to relax and get happy again.
So it will take a special person or family to give him the time and understanding he needs.
