Meet the adorable Hamish!

Hamish starts his day covering his foster family with gentle licks followed by hoolies around the yard, and a walk around the block. But life for Hamish wasn’t always this way.

Hamish was a terrified pup in a scary pound when Happy Tails saved him. He’s now in foster care playing with doggy friends, meeting new humans and slowly learning the world isn’t such a scary place.

Hamish is timid around new people and is looking for a kind family, in a household on the quieter side, who can commit time and love to his development, and give structure and confidence to this special boy.

If another dog is around, Hamish comes out of his shell and transforms into a playful pup. He would love to live with another dog who can show him how to be the goodest boy! He’s good on the lead, both walking and jogging and as he grows up, would love daily walks or even a running buddy.

Hamish has the softest of coats and the sweetest of hearts, and will become a special part of the lucky family who adopt him.
