Quiet and a little bit quirky, this pretty kitten has slowly melted the hearts of our cattery staff and volunteers. Now Carly is ready to capture a heart for good and find her happy ever after.
Carly arrived in AWL care a very frightened kitten; hiding at the back of her condo, frozen and wide eyed, she was easily spooked by the behaviour team's daily visits to offer chicken and other goodies. Over days, and then weeks, Carly began to trust her human visitors. These days, she can be found sneakily pawing at people as they pass by her door, hoping for a pat or treat.
These days, Carly is certainly more comfortable exploring her enclosure, playing with toys and patiently watching the staff as they work, but she can find meeting new friends a bit overwhelming. A slow and gentle approach is best to win Carly's affection and she would love to spend the rest of her days beside a kind and calm character. Carly would best suit a quieter mature home with no young children (under 12 years) where there is space for her to grow at her own pace.
Carly is quick to learn and loves to examine new and interesting enrichment toys. Though she would be safest as an indoor only cat, Carly would love plenty of opportunities to explore and play once settled in with her new family. Please see our friendly staff if you would like to meet Carly.
Our Kemps Creek Shelter is open seven days a week from 10am - 3.30pm. To enquire about our beautiful shelter pets contact the team on 8899 3333 or come visit us at the shelter.
