About Flip
Darling Flip is named for his funny ears. When he came into care as an 8 week old pup his ears were folded back. When you unfolded them they would just pop back over again! Over time he started to have them up for a little bit of time and now they are forward most of the time. He must have a bit of stumpy tail cattle dog in him too because he only has a short tail, but it does wag a lot of the time.
Flip is a great little fella - friends with all the dogs from pups to grownups, and very people orientated too. While he loves his toys and playing with the other dogs, his special thing is being a faithful and loyal companion. He just wants to be with you, be involved and included, and lots of cuddles please.
Flip was surrendered with his sick, thin mummy dog and his 3 litter mates. They were brought back to Tennant Creek and treated, then came to Elliott to go into foster care. With safety, warm beds and lots of good food and the right medicine, they all began to thrive. Flip is a lovely healthy little pup now and oh so handsome.
Flip is a sensible loving little dog, and very teachable. While he loves his litter mates he is a big boy now and ready to go off and make a life for himself with a loving family.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Flip's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. Flip is currently in foster care in Elliott NT.
