About Rosie
Rosie is a very sweet little girl with a big heart! She is quite shy when she meets someone new and takes a while to come around. She settled into her carer's home within a couple of days and gets along well with all the other dogs in the household.
She enjoys her many toys and her beautiful big carrier bag "home" where she often sleeps during the day. Being a short-coated dog (fox terrier x chihuahua) she needs her warm jacket on in the cold weather - she loves to sit inside the house in a sunny position and soak up all the warmth from the sun.
Rosie enjoys going out for her daily walk around the block, she must be kept on a harness/lead combo for safety. She is VERY, VERY QUICK!!! She can run like the wind and take off without a second's notice - even around the home. She needs a nice grassed backyard in which she can run around, she needs good fencing (colourbond ideal) and secure gates.
She does not like loud noises or raised voices and needs a gentle, loving owner who wants her to be part of the family, with access inside the home 24 hours a day, and a comfy lounge chair.
Rosie is only six years old and has another good 10 years plus of quality life ahead of her. She needs a home where there is someone home during the day (at least a good part of the day) and another small dog would suit her as a companion. She is fully toilet trained and is very clean inside the house.
Rosie will go to hew new home being fully vaccinated (including yearly heartworm protection (Proheart SR12 given on 31.05.2109) plus a full dental - teeth clean etc. no extractions were needed. She also comes with her own massive supply of bedding, carry case and canvass crate, toys, collars, leads etc.
Applications to adopt this sweet little girl are now being accepted and she is ready to go to her new home now!! If you think you would be a good match for Rosie, please send your enquiry via Pet Rescue. For more information on Rosie, contact Nigel on (02) 6584 4992.

.......................
Midcoast Dog Rescue Inc. is trying to expand its foster carer network so that we can help more dogs in need. This is a very rewarding experience and suits a variety of people. Some people, for whatever reason, are unable to make a permanent commitment to a dog, a commitment which can last for up to 15 years. Others use the fostering experience as an interim measure before committing to permanently owning a dog. If you think you could be interested in becoming a foster carer, either on a long-term or a short-term basis, and would like more information please contact Nigel on 6584 4992 or Wendy on 6584 7027.
