Introducing Vinnie, our adorable little Staffy mix boy.....although he's just a puppy, he is a wise and sensible little man! He is loyal to his humans and loves to be right by your side.

Vinnie is 1 of 3 pups who arrived in care at the age of 8 weeks of age. He spends his days at Follyfoot Childcare centre where his foster mum works and then heads back to his foster home in the afternoon. As you can imagine, Vinnie has had plenty of exposure to young children and new people coming through the centre and very much enjoys the daily interaction with people.

This chunky little man loves to cuddle on your lap, spend time with his humans and absolutely adores other dogs and puppies.

During his time in foster care, Vinnie has been learning basic commands (will sit when asked) and is doing fantastic with toilet training.

As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Vinnie will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that he grows up to be a well mannered and socialised boy. We believe that he will be a medium size dog when fully grown. He is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment we’re sure he will grow to be an extremely loyal, well mannered adult.

We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.

Vinnie would be best suited to a home with another doggie companion or the company of his humans. He will need a medium to large yard with secure height appropriate fencing. Due to his fair coloured coat, he will need sunscreen applied to his ears and coat to protect him from the sun.

Vet work will be complete this week and he will be ready to head off to his forever home from 1st June.... He is located in Budgewoi on the Central Coast NSW.
