About Sassy ~ German Shepherd x (on trial 2-6-2019)
Lively, bold and full of spirit describes Sassy perfectly. She is a 14 month old German Shepherd X and is looking for her perfect family to bestow her loyalty to. Sassy loves to help with all outdoor activities, being with you every step of the way. She loves other dogs and is amazing with kids and people in general. She loves to have a face or belly scratch and to sit next to you with pride.
She is very clever, with her Shepherd nature coming out with her training. Sass is such a quick learner! She knows how to sit and has excellent recall but probably cannot be trusted off the lead on walks yet. Her previous owner was unable to continue caring for Sassy but misses her every day. I can definitely see why! She is the most gentle and sweet natured girl and all she wants is to please and be loved.
Sassy does not bark but she loves to copy for foster bro’s; if they bark she barks, if they sniff she sniffs, if her younger bro pinches a sock … she pinches a sock. She also gives her younger foster bro a run for his money with some ‘greyhound’ spirit. She is fast!
Sassy would love someone that can take her for long walks and can show her the love that she yearns for. She has been sleeping in her bed inside and would probably prefer to be an inside and outdoor kind of dog to be near you. During my time with Sass, this quote fit her perfectly, “A dog will teach you unconditional love. If you have that in your life, things won’t be too bad” Robert Wagner
For more information or to meet Sassy, please contact her foster carer Renee via email renee.goreham@gmail.com Sassy is in foster care in Medowie, NSW (2318) and is available for adoption interstate.
Sassy’s adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
