Hi I'm Tulip, I'm Lucky Paws' biggest and best kept secret. You haven't been able to know about me for a while, while I was recovering from an injury that happened before I was saved but I'm ready to meet you now and show you just how special my foster mum and dad tell me I am!!
I've been growing big and strong in my foster home and LOVE being able to go to the dog park and on walkies. Because I had a leg injury, I have been such a good girl and have learnt perfect crate training as well as toilet training and simple tricks. I also think the vet is the best place ever and am not scared at all!!
I live with lots of foster brothers and sisters so I am very well socialised and would really suit a family with a fur-friend to play with but my foster mum tells me I am the biggest sooky and would do just fine on my own with lots of cuddles.
Medical notes
Previous Calcaneus (Heel Bone) fracture - surgery completed on 7/3/19. No lameless or limping.
Tulip has had the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed
~ 2 x Vaccinations (C5 & C5)
~ Microchipped
~ All-Wormed
~ Flea Treated
Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
