Hello friends, I am the one and only Scarlett! I'm the sweetest girl you'll ever meet but it might take a little bit for me to warm up to you. My up bringing wasn't the best and I'm looking for that second chance I keep hearing about. I'm looking for a calm owner, who has the time to show me that things are not as scary as I think they are. This means my home needs to be pretty chill, and you'll need to take it slow with the usual things around the house like vacuums, washing machines...I have no idea why they are making so much noise?! If you pair these with lots of treat rewards, it'll help me overcome my fears. When I came in, I was quite skinny so I like to protect my food as I still have trust issues. My new owner will have to help me through this behaviour. I just want to learn how to trust someone and become someone's best friend. With training and patience, I will become the best little girl to have around in no time. I love a good cuddle and pat. I'd be a great couch and movie buddy! My friends here have helped me come out of my shell a little and they keep telling me the world is waiting for me to shine, will you help me be the best dog I can be?
Dog parks and dog beaches will be a no go to start with, I would be so scared and possibly get grumpy with other dogs running up to me in that uncontrolled manner. Having said that, I could possibly live with another calm male dog pending meet. I don't want to live with tiny humans as they are a bit much. Older kids/teens would be better for me.
