Hero **Will Be Your Best Mate**

Hero is a Labrador mix puppy boy who is a medium size boy.

I’m Hero and I was saved on ANZAC Day. My story is a sad one, but as we know life can only get better.
I was found wandering the streets, abandoned and searching for food, suffering from a severe infection which made my skin bleed, and feeling very scared and alone. Then my very own heroes stepped up to save me.
The first ones I met were at Blacktown Pound. They saw that I was in a bad way, but had a lovely nature and contacted Rocky’s K9 Rescue for help. Then my next heroes came to get me and immediately started me on the road to recovery. I can remember being a bit shy at first, but when I had my first yummy meal and a soft warm bed to call my own I knew that from now, my life without love and cuddles was over.
It was easy to settle in and I gave back all of my love to those who loved me so much. I am being called things like beautiful, handsome, affectionate and adorable – which sound like lovely words, especially when they come with smiles, kisses and cuddles. Ahhh, life’s good!
I know that my heroes would love to keep me here, but it’s time for me to find a home of my very own with my own family of heroes, who will show me the good things in life and have me as their baby boy to love and cherish. I like meeting other dogs and am learning how to play. I am learning to do some cool tricks like sitting for my food and am a good boy in the car. I have been fine around children and just thrive on attention.
Will you be my new hero and (as the song says) be the wind beneath my wings.
I can’t wait for this new chapter in my life!
I am ready to share all of my love with you.
