Hi World my name is Sharki. I'm the prettiest soul ever & so easy on the eye...so my foster mumma says!

She adores me so much (& so does everyone I've met here so far) & will keep me with her & my foster brother for as long as it takes to find me the PAWfect forever home. So only the very best of the best need apply.

I'm 6 years old, toilet trained, chilled, will play if you initiate (chasy is my fav!), love to snuggle, gaze out the window, walks (cruisy on a lead), know basic commands & am deaf...however I am so smart & a quick learner. So, with sign & facial expressions I understand sit, stay, come, high five, no, up, & wait.

If you've read this far & thought yes I am the dog for you but were then turned off by the word deaf then you don't deserve me. Yeah yeah my foster mumma can be extra protective where I am concerned. You see, I have been through so much trauma, neglect & abandonment. Yet I still yearn for love, acceptance, stability & am a well behaved girl.

I'm like every other dog & my sense of smell is heightened! So I may not hear you arriving home but I can smell you! & will sprint wiggle my way to you for a hug. The funniest thing ever is watching my foster brother run for his life when my foster mumma turns the vaccum on...pffft I can't hear it so it doesn't bother me...

I want to mostly be where ever you aor chilling about the house or also out the window if there is a view.

I'm best suited as a companion dog, with someone who is home a lot & will let me snuggle with them on the couch or in bed with them. I may be ok with a fur male companion but it may take me a week or so to settle & feel safe. I've learnt so much off by foster brother...just by observing.

My humans need to be consistent, patient, have kind, genuine, positive energy (yes my intuition & reading of body language is sharp).
