Experienced owner needed for Leia!

3 year old Leia is a very, very shy Rottweiler looking for home.

Poor Leia is very scared at the shelter. Everything is still new and unknown to her. Even though she has been here a few weeks, she still hasn't found her feet. She isn't a fan of other female dogs and she is very timid around people. She is definitely a go-slow dog and will need someone who can step up for her.

She would blossom with an experienced owner and a secure yard. She can dig so will need to be kept safe inside / crated if you go out so as not to escape.

IDEAL HOME:
- no other pets
- no children
- quiet, mature household
- concrete yard she can't dig up
- high fencing
- experienced Rottie owner ready to work with her

Leia is a challenging dog and requires a patient guardian who can commit to her and stick with her through any challenging behaviours. An owner experienced with breed is ideal.

We think she *may* be able to go to a home with another large male dog, however we need to test this. You will need to bring your dog out to meet her at the shelter. Ideally, we think she would best suit a home with no other dogs.
