About Ollie ~ Cattle Dog X Labrador (on trial 8/8/19)
Meet Ollie, a beautiful 7month old Cattle x Labrador, the sweetest snuggle bug you can imagine. After a last minute rescue from the pound he came into care and has surprised his foster mum and dad with his loving and sweet nature.
He is currently in foster care with 2 other medium/large size dogs that he loves to chase around the yard. He hasn’t been tested around cats or small children but is totally fine with older kids. He can be a little jumpy and all over you but all he wants is to give you hugs and kisses.
Ollie doesn’t like to be left alone. He has been diagnosed with separation anxiety and will need a family that is willing to work with him and win his trust. He will need to be in a family where one family member is at home for most of the day and also has another dog that can keep him company when no one is home and helps him settle down. He will need a yard with secure fencing and locked gates.
Ollie likes to go for walks and being so young he still has lots of energy and loves to explore. Ollie is still a dopey pup that has lots to learn but is very smart and knows basic commands such as sit and stay. He is toilet trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He is currently sleeping inside next to his foster parents and spends most of the day following his carers around the house to make sure they don’t just leave or go through some secret door and disappear.
Ollie has so much love to give and just wants to find a family that will love him just as much and will treat him as part of the family
