About Alfie ~ Kelpie X Labrador (on trial 1/6/19)
Alfie is a lovely natured, affectionate and gentle pup. This handsome 7 month old Kelpie x Labrador loves to snuggle and be around humans. He also has a fair amount of energy and enjoys wrestling and playing with other dogs.
Alfie is a good boy and is doing well with his training. He already knows some basic commands such as sit and stay. Alfie is starting to learn to walk on the lead and is doing really well with toilet training. He is very easy to train as he loves his food and would be a great fit for family with time to invest in his training. Alfie would love to spend time as an indoor dog but is also OK outside during the day.
Alfie is good with kids, but may be more suited to older children as he is still learning not to jump when he is excited.
Alfie would love a home where he can be included as part of the family.

Alfie's adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
