Hi there I am the lovely Marley,

I was sadly surrendered to the shelter when my owner was moving and could not take me along.

I was very frightened when I arrived and completely shut down. After lots of TLC and becoming used to my new routine I slowly started to adjust to life at the shelter and my loving and affectionate character started to blossom.

All the staff here at the shelter have told me that I am very gentle natured and super sweet.

I am searching for a very special home! One where my new forever family allow me to take my time to settle in and take things nice and slow with me.

I bond quiet quickly and am constantly looking to my handler for love and reassurance, I will retreat to my bed/kennel when feeling scared or overwhelmed.

My new house must have secure fencing to ensure that I am always safe and sound at home.

I am very clever and know how to sit and shake hands, I do love my food too so should learn new things with ease.

I walk well on the lead and will need lots of walks and trips out and about to help boost my confidence and help with my socialization.

Despite everything that I have gone through I have never once shown any sign of aggression, just fear.

I appear to scared of cats and I am a very tolerant of other dogs. It is recommended that I go to a home with another dog for company and to assist in my self growth.
