Hello Friends, it’s Frankie here!
Hold onto your heart because I’m highly likely to steal it! If you're looking for a good boy, I am the goodest; I'm oozing with character and have personality in spades.
I’m about 16 weeks young and love my food. I’ve been taught to sit for food and would love to learn more tricks to get those goodies. I’m eager to please my humans, a real clever cookie that will learn fast with guidance and consistency.
I have fabulous manners within the home. I’m house trained, but you need to remember I’m still little and can’t hold on for a very long time - I’ll need you to open those pesky doors for me. Though I sleep through the night with no accidents!
I love sleeping with my humans - snuggling is the best! But I do know my bed is mine and will happily sleep there too (as long as my Dinosaur, Furt, is allowed too - Frank and Furt are a dynamic duo).
As I’m a growing boy, I do like to sleep quite a bit at the moment - but let’s run zoomies and play tug of war first. I also love my chew toys and elk horn. I love those toys that have hidden yummies inside too.
So, what’s my ideal home you may ask?
- I’ll need to go for walks/adventures and car rides - so have your walking shoes ready.
- Someone kind, loving and willing to guide me to my best self. Let’s work together and continue to grow - I won’t let you down!
- I can stay home alone with my toys and chews but I don’t want to be left for a long time.
- I need your promise to welcome me inside, I really want to be part of your family.
- I love small humans too coz they’re loads of fun - but I get excited, so bigger kids are the best kind.
- I would love a doggy sibling for company, or I’d happily steal all those snuggles and be your only one. Cats (ultimate fun police) don’t seem to like playing chasey though - so I’m best suited to a home without cats.

Adoption details
ADOPTION:
1. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com to contact our Adoption Team & we will send you an expression of interest form to return
2. Successful applicants will then have a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer, along with a volunteer home visit & fence check, before beginning a trial period with the dog to ensure a great match for all involved.
DFL dogs are vaccinated, micro chipped & desexed prior to adoption (or at 6 months as a condition of adoption).
FOSTER:
If a dog is listed as "Foster Carer Needed", they are looking for a temporary home in Perth metro while their vet work is completed and while they wait for their forever home. They may also be fostered with the view to adoption. Please email us for more information.

2. Foster care applicants will then have a volunteer home visit & fence check, and a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer/rescue representative, before commencing foster care.
