About Bean ~ Cattle Dog X (on trial 30/5/19)
Bean is a lovely, friendly 9 week old Cattle X puppy who is an absolute pleasure to look after with his irresistible cuteness and affectionate nature.
Bean has been raised in a home environment and has been well socialised with other puppies and people and gets along with them all. He loves people and cuddles. He enjoys romping with his siblings and he will follow you everywhere.
Bean is the smallest of his siblings (my little jelly bean!!) and more timid and quieter than the others. He needs a little extra reassurance in new situations and he would be suited to someone who with a calm and patient energy.
Bean is very smart and easy to train and just wants to please. He loves his food and will sit and wait for his dinner. He has leant to eat out of his own dinner bowl and to not steal his siblings food. He is not yet toilet trained but he will learn quickly as he gets older. Bean is teething and likes to chew everything.
Bea is going to grow into a very smart and energetic dog so ongoing training and socialisation is important. He will need a big yard with high secure fencing to keep him safe. No rural style fencing. He is a high energy dog and will need daily exercise outside the home to keep him both physically and mentally healthy and happy.
Bean ideally needs a friendly, calm adult dog as a teacher and companion to keep him company or an owner that is home most of the time to bond with him. He would be too lonely on his own and would be likely to get stressed.
Bean needs to be welcome inside when people are home and to sleep inside at least until he is an adult. Due to his high energy levels and need for training he would be suited for older children.
Bean’s brother Comet and sister Pippa are also available for adoption.
As Bean is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
