About Dixie
Lovely young Dixie, came to us from the Pound. How or why she was there, we don’t know.
Her cross (Cattle x Kelpie) is a popular mix - the activeness of the Kelpie seems to be tempered by the laziness of the Cattle Dog, so that she’s not an overly active girl. Dixie is a good girl with people and other dogs alike - she’s well socialised, mixing with up to a dozen different dogs at any one time, whether they be big, small, young or old. She has a good friend in Tash, the red Cattle Dog (to be listed separately) at her foster home.
Dixie’s easy to walk on the leash and has other basic manners. It’s not known if she’s house trained as due to the high numbers of foster dogs in my care, I’m unable to have them living in my home with our own 5 small dogs and two cats. Dixie does like to come inside through the pet flap to say hello (intended for small dogs!) and has never had an accident inside. In my experience, adult dogs are very easy to housetrain in any case.
She’s not cat tested as yet.
Dixie’s in care with me (Denise 0429 457 558) at Moree, NSW.
She is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed.
We have fortnightly dog road transportation pick up in Moree - the next one being 28th May.
Medical notes
Vet checked, a healthy girl.
