SHELLEY is a former stray who spent 3 months in a pound - she arrived in very early stages of pregnancy at approx 9-12 months old.

She was shy of humans in the pound environment, so she was overlooked by potential adopters, and was in the pound for 3 months... dodging 'Kill List' dates by a whisker every month.

Luckily some pound volunteers and rescuers saw that she was only shy because she hated being in the pound!

Once she was in foster care, her true nature began to shine immediately.

She is VERY PLAYFUL, SWEET, and a little bit SASSY too!! She loves playing with her foster mum, often while purring so much she drools! She really does love humans who care enough to spend a little time just sitting with her for moment before getting into play mode.

Although still a touch shy of new people, and new environments (what cat isn't, right?!) Shelly will make a fabulous INDOOR ONLY addition to a quiet household.

She loves to play with other friendly cats, and even more, loves the sole attention of a loving human :)

She hasn't had contact with dogs or children so we're unsure how she will fare with them, but we're willing to try if you are!
