About Legend
Australian champion
seelestial likka tigar "legend"
legend's breeder owner has had 2 heart attacks in recent times and has been advised by her doctors to cut down on her work load including the number of dogs she has. I am the rescue officer for the belgian shepherd club of nsw so she asked me to help her re-home some of her dogs. Legend is approximately 26 inches to his flank and about 23-25kgs. Here is legend’s story:
he was born: 11th february 2005 his father was demonique lernunnos and his mother was au ch tarraray celestial sky. He has been dna tested, hips 2:1, elbows 0:0, eyes normal, seizure free
legend came to tarraray from daniela mura. Dani only had the one litter and decided the world of pedigree dogs and dog showring was not for her. Legend is a real character who thinks he is top of the yard but is forever getting put back in his place - a real sook at heart loving cuddles and smooches. His show career started early and he has had multiple classes in show, together with multiple runner up in groups, with his 1st at only 7 months of age. Legend is yet to crack a best in group - he has had many runner up in groups. At only 2 he had nearly reached his grand championship. He is a show dog that has 97 points to go to get his grand champion status. Belgian shepherds often show their gums when smiling and playing and sometimes he tries to sort of woo woo growl but it is not a real growl more like he is talking to you but as they are extremely intelligent they will try you out. I just growl back and he stops straight away. It is almost as if he is talking to you and like all intelligent dogs will test you to see how you react. As you probably know belgians are possessive dogs and can be demanding. They have a sensitive nature and need to be regularly exercised both mentally and physically therefore it is important to continue sort form of training. The belgian shepherd dog forms strong bonds with its owner and so is more sensitive to its owner’s needs. Therefore a belgian needs to "live with" its family rather than in isolation somewhere in the grounds or left in the house alone for many hours a day. If the dog has to spend a lot of time on its own it would benefit from a companion, preferably another belgian shepherd of the opposite sex. Legend will be de-sexed before going to his new forever home
