About Denham
Howdy everyone, it's me Denham - everyone's favourite senior!
In case you missed it, I arrived into BVAR care after I was dumped in the pound at the grand old age of 8!! And to make matters worse, it was pretty obvious that I had been in pain for some time. I had severe infections in both my ears that were neglectfully left untreated for quite some time, causing me to go deaf. It's okay though, because I have had my ears cleaned out and flushed and even though I will never get my hearing back, I will never ever be in that pain again.
I may be deaf, but I am definitely not shy! My foster mum reckons I am the biggest lady's man. I've definitely been busy stealing hearts left right and centre whilst I have been in foster care - everyone that meets me just falls in love! My tail wags non stop when I am around people.
I get along great with other dogs, but try and show me up in front of the ladies and I will put you in your place! I'd love a home with other dogs that are submissive and won't try and challenge me. I'd also do well in a home where it is just me lapping up all the attention!
I am fantastic with children and just adore humans, and would love to be by your side always. I would love a retirement home where I am part of the family and allowed inside to sleep in a cosy bed. I am not a fan of cats so please do not make me live with them!
I am completely ball obsessed! Throw a ball in front of me and I am suddenly an 8 month old puppy with a spring in my step. I will run and play fetch until you make me stop.
I am a sweet old man and I really deserve a chance at happiness. So, please take a chance on an ol' boy and enquire about adopting me today
Adoption details
To enquire about an animal available for adoption, please contact us via Facebook or send an email to bellevieanimalrescue@gmail.com. We will respond within 48 hours and send a questionnaire for you to complete.
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will organise a mutually convenient time and location to do the meet and greet. If the meet is successful, there will be an adoption contract to complete and sign and the full adoption amount is required unless previously organised with Belle Vie Animal Rescue. Your adoption pack will include a copy of the contract for you, all vet work and a microchip change of ownership form, which will be filled out and submitted by BVAR at the end of the adoption trial.
