Good-natured and happy to meet everyone, 12 month old Luke is all set to be your very best mate.

Luke is very keen to please us and always tries to do his best. He just wants to do the right thing so we're seeing him come along leaps and bounds with his training.

He can already "sit" and "wait" - all learnt while here at the shelter. Being that big, he's strong on the lead but he's getting better at controlling his impulse to pull with the help of a halti head harness and it's working wonders. Ask us to show you how we walk him - he would love to impress you with his skills!

LIKES: Luke loves playing fetch! He's a lot of fun and throwing the ball could be a great reward for him.

PERFECT HOME: We think Luke would thrive being a bloke's dog. He responds well to firm direction and needs an owner strong enough to manage him. Is that you?

DOG FRIENDLY? We haven't tested Luke with other dogs, but we think he would go well in a home with another big dog, male or female. Bring your dog out to meet Luke, he would love it!
