About Narla
Hello friends! My name is Narla and I am a playful snuggly puppy who loves the company of other dogs and humans!
When you first meet me I may appear a little shy but I can assure you that doesn't last long! Once I see your kindness and love I will open up my heart to you and make you laugh on the greyest of days. Day by day you'll see more of my personality shine through, from bubbles blowing out of my lips when I see delicious human food, my snoring, and the funny Tigger jumps I do when you're preparing my
breakfast and dinner.
Currently, I am living with 2 human adults and a foster dog sister. I
absolutely love playing with Ginger at our toy box, sometimes I forget my size and weight
but she knows I'm still learning and is patient of that. Another thing I love is walks through
the neighbourhood and open spaces like parks, I'm excellent on the lead, one of my favourite things is long grass, you'll think I'm a kangaroo! I'm a bit nervous of busy streets with lots of people and shops but with my new supportive family I'll feel more comfortable. I'm an indoor girly in my foster home with weekly baths to be allowed on the furniture, so I've learned a few things like not to jump at tables and, I'm 90% toilet trained, and I fully understand my name, sit, shake, and stay. In between playing and watching you cook and clean, I like snoozing and snuggling up to watch a movie with you which brings me to my other favourite thing: PILLOWS! I love making a bed out of cushions and pillows and nestling into them. At the moment I can be afraid when you leave me completely alone with no other dog or human so I'd love it if you were home a lot. I need a home with another dog.
I'm a bit of a boof head so I need a home with adults and children over 15years.
I may have big beautiful sad eyes, but you'll know I'm happy when you see my tail wagging and my bum in the air while playing. Ultimately, I'd love to find my forever home with a loving family where I can continue learning, grow old, and brighten their day with my personality everyday.

We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Campbellfield. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you. www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ...because they all deserve one
