About Pippa ~ Cattle Dog X (on trial 26/5/19)
Pippa is a very pretty, healthy and friendly 8 week old Cattle Dog X puppy who is an absolute pleasure to look after with her playful antics and affectionate nature.
Pippa has been raised in a home environment and has been well socialised with other puppies and people and gets along with them all. She loves people and cuddles. She enjoys romping with her siblings and will follow you everywhere. Pippa is a very confident and outgoing puppy but is still only little and can get timid in new situations.
Pippa is very smart and easy to train and just wants to please. She loves her food and will sit and wait for her dinner. She has leant to eat out of her own dinner bowl and to not steal her siblings food. She is not yet toilet trained (we call her “PIppa Piddle Pants”) but she will learn quickly as she gets older . She is teething and likes to chew everything.
Pippa is going to grow into a very smart and energetic dog so ongoing training and socialisation is important. She will need a big yard with high secure fencing to keep her safe. No rural style fencing. She is a high energy dog and she will need daily exercise outside the home to keep her both physically and mentally healthy and happy.
Pippa ideally needs a friendly, calm adult dog as a teacher and companion to keep her company or an owner that is home most of the time to bond with her. She would be too lonely on her own.
Pippa needs to be welcome inside when people are home and to sleep inside at least until he is an adult. Due to her high energy levels and need for training she would be ideal for older children.
Pippa’s brother’s Bean and Comet are also available for adoption.
As Pippa is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
