Murphy

Murphy is a gentle giant. He is approx 3 years old, BA x Dane x Rhodesian Ridgeback.
Murphy has so much love to give, he desperately needs a home and family of his own. He is very wary of sudden noises and movement, so will require a calm and quiet home until he has learnt to trust again.
This boy has been through so much, in the just the time he has been with us. Removed from the pound onto road transport. Then due to bad weather had to endure a long flight, then escaping his overnight accomodation and getting lost for the entire night, in the strange place during a storm. Being found, and put on another plane, then finally into a foster home, where he was finally starting to open up and shine. Then due to an unfortunate misunderstanding with a smaller dog he was put into kennels, where to this day, he still is 😢. He’s in Melbourne, in this cold winter weather, stuck in a kennel! It’s breaking our hearts.
We have had this boy temperament tested, and feel is he best suited as an only dog. We needs an owner who is experienced with large dogs, as Murphy is a big boy, who knows his basic manners, but will need further training.
He loves to give and receive attention, he loves going for walks, and just being with you. He just wants to be your special someone.
