About Bonnie ~ 1 year old Cattle Dog x (pend. adoption)
If you have ever wanted to make a difference in a dog’s life, this could be the girl for you!!
Bonnie is a 1 year old Cattle Dog x in need of a very understanding person to give her a new home, love her, care for her and make her realise that people can be trusted. Could you be the person she is looking for??
Bonnie has spent much of her life not exposed to people so this makes her very frightened. She has been lucky to have spent the last few months with a family and other dogs who have given her a home environment and a little confidence.
Bonnie is best if she approaches you as doesn’t like to be approached. She does love a tummy rub and is starting to work out human contact can be enjoyable and rewarding to her. She tends to bond with one person and will enjoy a cuddle.
Bonnie hasn’t been able to go for a walk outside the yard. When the lead gets clipped on she just lays down. She does sleep inside of a night and does have the occasional accident. With time, it would be great for Bonnie to have some basic training classes.
Bonnie loves other dogs her own size and enjoys playing and running around. She must have another dog to play with as this will help build her confidence and help her learn.
With time, love and patience, Bonnie will make someone a lovely doggy friend. She would be best suited to a quiet environment without young children, a couple with another friendly dog would be ideal.
As Bonnie is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing.
If you would like to meet Bonnie, please contact Sharron by texting 0423331057 or emailing sstudley3@gmail.com She is located in Bolton Point NSW. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
