On Hold
About Lacey
I AM CURRENTLY ON HOLD AS I AM MEETING A POTENTIAL ADOPTER SOON. Hi my name is Lacey, I used to live in a home where I was never allowed outside, I had elderly owners and they weren't very mobile, but since coming to the rescue group, boy have I discovered a whole new world exists!! I learnt how to walk on a lead and enjoy discovering the world, I love meeting small dogs like myself and playing is my favourite pastime! Make sure you check out my videos.
I have just also started playing with toys! People who meet me say I am the sweetest dog they have ever met, I just love everyone, I am not keen on large dogs, so if you have a big dog I probably aren't the best fit for you. I could also be an only dog, but only if you don't work and are a way from me a lot. I would be the best work from home buddy you could ever wish for that is for sure. I have not had a lot to do with children, I am fine with children who are gentle and are used to dogs, but I do not like to be grabbed by them. I have not been around cats at all so probably best you don't have cats.
I was surrendered as being a Chihuahua x but I think I am more Terrier x myself. I won't suit living in an apartment, I want to have my own safe secure backyard to play in and I would love to be your bed buddy but am also happy to sleep in a den crate as long as I am with you. If you would like to meet me please apply further down the page, it's called an expression of interest and the CRQ people will contact you if you are a match for me, I hope to meet you soon!
Medical notes
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs have been fully health checked by our vets. We offer a free post-adoption health check with Greencross Vets at Chermside, Jindalee, Browns Plains or Indooroopilly hospitals. This gives you the opportunity to talk directly to the vet about any questions you may have. We provide all veterinary records for each dog, including copies of blood tests, any relevant X-rays and medical notes.
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs are desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. We test all our dogs for heartworm and treat them with regular parasite prevention.
Lacey is a healthy girl with no medical issues, she has had a dental while with CRQ.
