Boots is a lovely, active boy. He has had some training and is very obedient, and has great recall so is good when off lead. Boots loves his doggie friends and just wants to play. He is also well behaved around chooks and livestock so would be an amazing addition for a family with acreage. He is house trained and can use a dog door. He is great company, loves being around people and will follow you around all day checking out what you are doing. He adores cuddles and attention but will still cope on his own for some of the day if you work.
Boots needs exercise every day with walks and some running around the yard playtime. He travels well in the car and loves exploring new places. With his dog social skills and great nature he can accompany you to the beach, park or on your travels and is just a super boy. Would do great as your second dog or any home where he will be a much loved family member.
Boots is best suited to older children as he can be a little sensitive about his ears and belly being touched, although he is getting much better in this area with lots of reassurance from his carers.
Please enquire about Boots on our SAFE Application Form.
MEDICAL NOTES
Boots is vet checked, flea and worm treated, current with vaccination, microchipped and sterilised.
ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.
All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.
After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
