About Peanut
PEANUT – DOB 5/3/19 – M/C 900164001798901
Adoption fee $700 refund of $200 when level 1 obedience has been completed and the certificate is issued.
DNA testing has been sent to the USA. The results will take up to 4 weeks but all the puppies are up for adoption now.
The mother & father of the pups look like Stafford’s but are back yard bred so we can’t be sure, also another male could have got to the bitch so they could have another breed in them, please don’t ask what it is as we have no idea until the DNA testing comes back, your guess is as good as mine 😀
The pups all came into the care of Stafford Rescue Vic. from a back yard breeder. They were all very scared but are coming out of their shells now and having fun playing with toys and ripping up the paper they poo & pee on....lol
They are all vaccinated, de-sexed, micro chipped, wormed & health checked and are all very healthy, they have good coats and teeth which are very sharp!
Please note SRV are not making any money on the adoption fee, the vet fees were very costly! And along with food and other fees the adoption fee just covers what it has cost us.
The pups all came into us with no vet work except worming.
Before we get all the negative comments about the cost just remember that the back yard breeders and registered breeders don’t have the cost of de-sexing their pups like rescue groups do. At least with registered breeders they vaccinate, microchip, worm their dogs & more.
Before you apply please remember pups are hard work, they need feeding four times a day, they cry a lot until settled, they need puppy school and then obedience school.
So if you think you can offer one of these pups a good forever home, please go to Stafford Rescue Victoria’s website where you will find the Adoption Application.

If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to
http://www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au/index.php/adoption-forms-6
and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan at jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every week to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
