About Jewel
Everyone meet Jewel she is a 6 year old husky who is bi-eyed and has a beautiful amber coloured coat. She is such a sweet girl in need of special humans!
Jewel loves to be close to her family, whether it's relaxing inside, or watching them outside in the garden. She also enjoys her alone time sunbaking or chilling on a trampoline.
Although Jewel came into foster care with trust issues and separation anxiety with tendencies to escape, she is now over coming the trust issues and is more relaxed with being alone (with her male husky friend) with no desire to escape.
She is a blessing to have inside your home and relaxed with the family. Having a doggie door would give Jewel the ideal balance/flexibility of indoor and outdoor time.
Cats have been a part of Jewels past and she's enjoyed playing with them, just as she does with her canine friends. She is a chatty girl, who has some cheekiness too! She loves the classic game of tug-of-war and chase of a ball or rope toy. She is amazing out walking on lead, shows no signs of 'normal' husky traits.
Time will be expected (much like any new adoption) for Jewel to find her comfort zone. Jewel would suit a family that is at home more often and one who is happy to take her on family outings. Trust boundaries with some males might need to be built at Jewels timing.
If you are the right person/family and would love to meet Jewel then head over to the website and fill in the adoption form.
A meet and greet will be needed for all families with another dog and/or cat.
6ft dig & jump proof fencing is needed.
