About Alice
Alice is a lovely, gentle & sweet natured girl. She has a soft brindle coloured coat and is a healthy 8 year old Kelpie cross. In the time she has been with her foster family, Alice has shown to be good with young children - gently taking the treats offered to her by a visiting 4 year old. Alice loves pats and will nudge you if you stop patting her. She also loves walks and would do best on at least one walk a day but would love two! She pulls a little but is quite good on lead.
Alice is bright & intelligent - learning to ‘high five’ in less than a day. In the time she has been with her foster family she has coped with the comings and goings of 4 adults who have work commitments. To date, Alice feels the happiest and most comfortable in the company of females and we have been working on her anxiety around males with gradual and promising success. She loves the company of females and would spend all day with you if she could which is why we think an all-female household would suit Alice. She gets nervous at sudden movements or strange noises.
She will require secure fencing in her new home. She has not had a lot of experience with other dogs and we are working on introducing her slowly to them. But she is very playful and could potentially do well with another playful medium sized dog. Alice has not been tested with cats.
Alice is such a beautiful dog and is so ready to give all her love to her new owner.
