About Remy DL2171
What a ridiculously happy, lanky, goofy, wiggly baby!
Remy is an absolute joy and the perfect sidekick; he loves to be right by your side or in your lap. Whether that’s going for a stroll, snuggling on the couch, or keeping your feet warm, he just loves being with you. He is very much the type of dog that likes to be included in everything.
Already beginning to master basic commands like sit, shake and down, Remy is very food driven and incredibly eager to please and so training is a fun exercise! He will need someone with a solid understanding of structure and setting boundaries, as he is still very much a big excitable puppy... who is unaware that he isn’t a lap dog, and will try and use those puppy eyes to get away with just about anything!
Being eager to please he is quick to pick up on boundaries as long as it’s consistent. Amazingly gentle, Remy would be great with older kids who wouldn’t be put off by the occasional bump when he’s being playful.
Anyone would be lucky to call this big baby a member of their family! Email DFL today if you'd love to meet Remy.
Medical notes
Remy was born with hip dysplasia, so generally prefers not to put weight on his back-left leg when he’s feeling lazy. It is completely manageable with daily pain killers to encourage him to use that leg to build the muscle which will help avoid any major issues down the track. Remy’s medication is covered by the rescue while he is in foster care.
