Harriet McLairey

I'm trying a new home to see if i like it. Harriet mclairey is another pet shop dog surrendered to paws and is the third dog surrendered to us in 2010 that was purchased (in the owners' own words) as an impulse buy from a pet shop. All three came from the same pet shop in hornsby which is part of a huge chain that sell in major shopping centres. No fault of harriet's at all, just a bad decision made by a lady who had two children in tow and was out shopping for groceries. Children then apply pressure to the mother who buckles and buys the dog for them. Big mistake! the dog then spends most of their life outside on their own. But not harriet mclairey who is in doggy heaven now and you couldn't wipe the grin from her face when we took her to her foster carer's house. She came in and immediately began playing with the matriarch canine of the house, doing 'zoomies' in and out, jumping from the deck onto the ground and then up again for another round of fun. Later that afternoon harriet went to the park and wanted to befriend everyone. Her new life has begun and she thinks that it is just amazing, all of this great stuff that happens when you go outside the confines of the yard and are free. Harriet mclairey is a very intelligent girl with great zest for life and will need a committed owner who will take her to training or perhaps agility as she is so agile and can jump up or down from a great height. Harriet has had almost no training at all and is a bit silly at the moment however, with the right owner, this dog will be fantastic. She is house trained, but does not walk well on a lead and will have as much training as possible with her foster carer to remedy this. Harriet's new owners will need to be energetic people who are prepared to take her to the park for socialisation and regular walks and she would love another dog as a companion if her owners are at work all day. Harriet is a house dog with a coat that will require regular brushing and trimming. Harriet comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $360. She has also had a heartworm prevention vaccination which will protect her for one year. If you would like more information on harriet or to arrange to meet her, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www. Paws. Com. Au for any updated photos and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption. Listed 28 april
